Self-guided hikes. \nBy participating in our First Day Hikes you will be joining the national “First Day Hikes” movement sponsored by America’s State Parks\, offering an opportunity to kick off your new year with a healthy start. Note: The hikes take place on uneven terrain. Dogs are allowed on the Lewis & Clark trails. Be sure to wear sturdy shoes\, bring water\, cameras\, binoculars and hiking poles if you have them.

SUMMARY:Otoe-Missouria Tribe History in Nebraska - Traveling Display
DESCRIPTION:The Gage County Historical Society in Beatrice\, Nebraska\, develops traveling exhibits\, notably the recent “Big Blue Reservation: Struggles and Hope of the Otoe-Missouria Tribe\,” created with the Tribe to share their history and currently touring\, including a stop at the Great Plains Art Museum through late 2025. They also host local exhibits\, like one celebrating the Community Players Theatre\, offering diverse historical displays about county life\, industry\, and agriculture from their museum at the old Burlington depot.  \n  \nThis exhibit will be on display through February 2026.
