Otoe-Missouria Tribe History in Nebraska – Traveling Display

Missouri River Basin Lewis & Clark Visitor Center 100 Valmont Drive, Nebraska City

The Gage County Historical Society in Beatrice, Nebraska, develops traveling exhibits, notably the recent "Big Blue Reservation: Struggles and Hope of the Otoe-Missouria Tribe," created with the Tribe to share their history and currently touring, including a stop at the Great Plains Art Museum through late 2025. They also host local exhibits, like one celebrating the Community Players Theatre, offering diverse historical displays about county life, industry, and agriculture from their museum at the old Burlington depot.    This exhibit will be on display through February 2026.
