Prepare to make the most of Spring 2025 Attend a Presentation of "SE Nebraska Butterflies, Where and When to see them" by Wildlife Photographer, Stephen Hassler Butterflies are beautiful pollinators. Some, like Monarch, are known to migrate, but some adults enter a state of "diapause", like hibernation, and come out of shelter on a warm day in March, and sometimes February, along most wooded paths and hiking trails near the river. I have selected approximately 125 of my best photographs from thousands that I have taken over the last 20 years; Monarchs, Swallowtails, Fritillaries, and more, featuring twenty-five varied species

The Missouri River Basin Lewis & Clark Visitor Center is hosting its annual Native American Artifact Show on Saturday, March 8, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. The show will feature authentic Native American artifacts from a number of private and public collections. Visitors will be able to see some of the finest examples of spear points, arrowheads, tools, and pottery in the Midwest.
