Native American Artifact Show
Missouri River Basin Lewis & Clark Visitor Center 100 Valmont Drive, Nebraska City, NE, United StatesCollectors will be display their private exhibits and collections of arrowheads, spear points, tools and pottery. At 1:00 there will be a special presentation by Joyzelle Gingway Godfrey "Lewis and Clark Meet the Sioux" Hands-On activities for children (and adults) will include pottery making, corn grinding and moccasin making. The Otoe-Missouria Native American tribes were living along the Missouri River in present day Nebraska City area when Lewis and Clark camped here in July 1804.
